About Rise and Walk
Lives Transformed

Although Danny had no formal training he, Ron Wages, and Rodney Frazier, Senior Pastor of
Wakefield Family Church, forged ahead and held the first meeting. Over the past four years
the ministry has been nothing short of miraculous. Men who are successful by "worldly"
standards have be drawn to the ministry in droves. In attendance at any given meeting are
professional athletes, presidents and general mangers of multi-national companies, HR
directors, doctors, lawyers, sales managers, IT executives, engineers, etc all seeking one
thing....to be transformed. However, everyone checks their impressive titles and accolades at
the door. All men are welcome no matter where they are in life or in their walk. God has
moved so mightily in the ministry that a church, Wakefield Family Church, and this ministry,
Rise and Walk Ministries, have been birthed from it.

Rise and Walk Ministries leverages the lessons learned from the years of weekly meetings of
the
Wakefield Men's group. The David's Mighty Men's workshops and the Rise and Walk
seminar are time tested approaches to reaching and transforming men through the power of
the Holy Spirit. These workshops are a formalization of the 700 plus hours of weekly
meetings including the topics and scriptures covered during the sessions. The "Battle Plans"
that were created, based on the Word of God, were paramount to the men being changed and
transformed.
Now the question is...are you ready to Rise and Walk?
In 2002 Pastor Paul L Anderson, Baptist Grove
Church, challenged Danny to start a men's ministry
in his community. Although feeling unsure and
unprepared Danny stepped up to the challenge and
launched the Wakefield Men's Ministry. God's hand
was on the ministry from day one

As iron sharpens iron, so
one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17
"True growth in the word for me has come from being able to apply
immediately what I hear, read, or study to my daily walk.  Men's Ministry
has been the connection to an intimate walk with the father through Christ
that I've never experienced until joining this group of believers."
